How long has it been since you felt grounded and secure every day? For me, it's been a hot minute. Covid, Delta, Omicron, personal struggles, job changes, war.... these can rob us of the peace and security that we so urgently seek.
I don't think that would have been able to survive the past 6 months without my own personal Reiki practice. I crave the peace of these 20 - 30 minutes of calm in my mornings. These moments are what has carried me through. It is amazing what peace can be found in time spent on self-care. I find self-care vital for my mental health.
Self-care is not an indulgence and it doesn't necessarily require that you spend any money. Yep, I just told you it is not necessary to book a session with me to practice self-care. It true! Many times I don't spend a penny on self-care.
Sitting in the sun at lunch doesn't cost anything. Taking a walk and simply focusing on your breathing doesn't cost anything. Taking a moment to see the beauty that surrounds you - free.
Turning off the TV and sitting in silence for a few moments - once again, free. All these things are not necessarily elegant or trendy, but they are actions of self-care.

Most importantly, I want you to take time for yourself every day. Be kind to yourself every day. Turn the negative dialog in your head into a dialog of self-love every day. Drink water (lots of it) every day. Smile every day, and do your best to find joy in the little things.
