Relaxed Dog Pose

I have now completed my first Reiki session with an animal. Ryan is a rescue and struggles getting rest at night because of nightmares. His dog mom and dad are family and they asked me to come have a Reiki session with Ryan. My initial thought for this session was to go back to the source of the nightmare.

Ryan was resting comfortably on the floor and I laid out my crystals. I prepared myself for the session and asked Ryan’s permission to begin. I quietly announced that I was going to go back to the source of his nightmares. Ryan promptly got up and moved to the couch. I took that as a “No,” and we all had a good laugh. Needless to say, I reset my intention for the session. Ryan and I had a calm and peaceful session together. When I felt the Reiki slowing, I ended our session and sealed the healing.

My youngest daughter then spent a little time with Ryan sharing color therapy vibes with him. The picture to the left is Ryan's after Reiki Relaxed Dog Pose. The next day Ryan’s mom texted me that he was a changed dog. This made my heart so happy!
